Arsene Wenger would opt for job in Germany if he were to leave Arsenal

Arsene Wenger admits that he would consider coaching a club in Germany if he were to leave Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that he would consider coaching a German club if he were to leave his post at Arsenal.

The Gunners boss comes to the end of his current contract in the summer, but has maintained that he will continue on at the Emirates.

However, the Frenchman, who could guide Arsenal to their first trophy in nine years in the FA Cup final on May 17, has admitted that he would consider moving to Germany in the future.

"If I were to go somewhere then I think it would be in a different country because I am so much Arsenal that I would not like to coach anywhere else in England," Wenger told beIN Sports.

"Germany [is an option] because I am of German culture a little bit and it's a country where I have never worked and I am very close to it."

Arsenal have secured Champions League football for next season by reaching fourth place in the Premier League table.
