Arsenal will be hoping to make up ground on the Champions League places when they host struggling Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Struggling Blackburn Rovers pulled of a shock result earlier in the season when they defeated Arsenal 4-3 at Ewood Park.

Rovers boss Steve Kean could fancy taking more points from the out-of-form Gunners on Saturday when they square up at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal will be looking to make up ground on fourth spot after falling five points behind Chelsea with Wednesday's draw at Bolton.

Arsene Wenger is still without Abou Diaby, Carl Jenkinson and Kieran Gibbs, but the recent return of Bacary Sagna is good news on the injury front.

Wantaway skipper Chris Samba has been classed as fit and available for Rovers, but will not be considered for selection, while Yakubu will serve the last game of a three-match ban.

Current form:

Arsenal: DWLLLD
Blackburn: DWLWDL

Possible lineups:

Arsenal: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Koscielny; Walcott, Song, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arteta; Van Persie

Blackburn: Robinson; Olsson, Givet, Dann, Lowe; Pedersen, Petrovic, Dunn, Nzonzi, Hoilett; Modeste

Sports Mole says: 2-0
