Ryo Miyaichi looking to emulate Jack Wilshere

New Bolton loan signing Ryo Miyaichi says that he will try to emulate Arsenal teammate Jack Wilshere's performances at the Reebok from two seasons ago.

New Bolton loan signing Ryo Miyaichi has said that he is looking to emulate Jack Wilshere's performance in a Trotters shirt.

Wilshere spent six months at the Reebok Stadium two seasons ago and, despite being injured this season, is now a regular under Arsene Wenger and a fully-fledged international with England.

"Jack Wilshere said I would become a better player by playing here," said Miyaichi, who has only made two appearances in a Gunners shirt.

"I saw what Jack did here [on loan] two years ago. Of course, I want to be like him and play well for Bolton. My style is to dribble with the ball so I'm excited to come here."

Miyaichi watched on as his new club took on his parent club yesterday, the game ended goalless with Arsenal dropping to seventh in the Premier League as a result.
