Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Gent striker Jonathan David.
The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for his Belgian club during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 19 occasions in 35 appearances, in addition to contributing 10 assists.
David, who has also scored 11 times in 12 appearances at international level for Canada, has a contract with Gent until the end of the 2023-23 campaign.
However, according to Jeunes Footeux, Arsenal are interested in signing the forward this summer.
The Gunners will allegedly have to fight off competition from a number of clubs if they wish to complete a deal, though, with Everton, Leicester City, Napoli, Lazio and RB Leipzig also thought to be in the hunt.
David has managed 15 goals and eight assists in the Jupiler Pro League this term, while he netted twice in five appearances in the group stages of the Europa League to help Jess Thorup's side make the first knockout round.
Mikel Arteta's side are facing the possibility of losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the end of the season, with Inter Milan and Barcelona both thought to be interested in the Gabon international.
