Arsenal have reportedly placed a transfer value of £45m on Lucas Torreira amid suggestions that AC Milan want to sign the midfielder in this summer's transfer window.
Torreira made 50 appearances for the Gunners last season following his arrival from Sampdoria.
The 23-year-old's future at the Emirates Stadium is already being called into question, though, with Milan reportedly identifying the Uruguay international as a potential summer signing.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal would want a £45m fee for Torreira, who has struggled to settle in England and is keen to return to Italy.
Unai Emery's side reportedly only have a transfer budget of £40m this summer, meaning that the English club will need to raise funds through player sales in order to significantly improve their squad.
