Arsenal are still considering a £23m bid for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to a report.

Arsenal have once again been linked with a move to activate the £23m release clause of Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

The Gunners, who are reportedly on the verge of signing Gonzalo Higuain for £22m, are eyeing big buys this summer as they look to re-establish themselves as title challengers.

Arsene Wenger has made the Belgian, who scored 11 goals last season, one of his targets, but was said to be unwilling to meet the price demand.

However, the London Evening Standard reports that the Frenchman is still weighing up the option of a bid that would break their transfer record once again.

Manchester United - with his former manager David Moyes now at the helm - are also believed to be interested in the 25-year-old.
