Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz before the end of this summer's transfer window.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old last summer, but he remained at Villa Park and was a vital player for Villa during the 2022-23 campaign.
Luiz scored seven times and registered six assists in 40 appearances for Unai Emery's side last season, including six goals and six assists in 37 Premier League outings.
The Brazilian signed a new contract extension at Villa Park last October, with his current deal due to run until June 2026, but there has been fresh speculation surrounding his future this summer.
According to Football Insider, Villa's interest in Leeds United's Tyler Adams could open the door for Luiz to leave during the current market, with both Arsenal and Spurs keen on him.

The report claims that Luiz is still seen as a vital player by Villa, but the arrival of Adams would lead to Emery's side listening to offers for the South American.
John McGinn, Boubacar Kamara, Youri Tielemans and Jacob Ramsey are among the midfield options available to Villa heading into the 2023-24 campaign.
Luiz made the move to the club from Manchester City in 2019, and he has represented Villa on 151 occasions in all competitions, including 140 appearances in the Premier League.
Villa finished seventh in the Premier League table last season, which will see them compete in the Europa Conference League playoff round for the upcoming campaign.

Arsenal, meanwhile, will be in the Champions League during the 2023-24 season following their second-placed finish in the Premier League.
Spurs will not be able to offer any European football in the new campaign, though, as they finished eighth in the table in 2022-23.
"Of course, Villa is a big club. I believe the decision I made was the right one. I had a great season, and the coach has helped me a lot," Luiz told Placar last month.
"He helped my evolution within the team, my personal characteristics improved and I had an excellent season. It was my best season since I joined the club so I'm very happy with that."
Villa are due to begin their 2023-24 Premier League campaign away to Newcastle United on Saturday.
