Arsenal have reportedly been dealt a blow in their efforts to sign Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic during the January transfer window.
With the future of Alexandre Lacazette currently up in the air, boss Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu are identifying possible replacements for the Frenchman.
Vlahovic is expected to sign for a bigger club at some point during 2022, the Serbia international netting eight goals during 12 Serie A appearances this season.
However, according to Sky Italia, the 21-year-old wants to assess his options before jumping at the chance to leave Fiorentina.
The report suggests that Arsenal are willing to pay €80m (£68.6m) at the midway point of the campaign if Vlahovic has a change of heart about a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Juventus are all said to be monitoring the situation, aware that La Viola are prepared to negotiate a deal at the turn of the year.
