Arsenal have reportedly tabled a fresh contract offer to striker Eddie Nketiah.
The Hale End academy product has struggled to make his mark on the Gunners team so far, and he ended the 2020-21 season having scored six goals and assisted one more in 28 appearances across all competitions.
With Folarin Balogun committing his future to the club in recent months, Nketiah has been expected to seek pastures new as the Gunners reportedly eye deals for new forwards such as Moussa Dembele and Roman Yaremchuk.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Nketiah received a new contract offer from Arsenal a number of days ago, but nothing has been signed as of yet.
England Under-21s' all-time record goalscorer would not be short of suitors if he does decide to leave the Emirates, though, as Romano adds that West Ham United, Watford, Crystal Palace and Bayer Leverkusen are all in the race for his services.
Nketiah - who has also been linked with a return to Leeds United - will see his existing deal at Arsenal expire at the end of next season, and he has amassed 13 goals in 65 appearances for the club in total.
