Lukas Podolski to join Galatasaray?

Speculation is rife that Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski will sign a permanent deal with Galatasaray following an unsuccessful loan at Inter Milan.

Out-of-favour Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is reportedly poised to join Galatasaray on a permanent deal next week.

The 29-year-old spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan with Inter Milan but struggled at San Siro, netting once in 16 Serie A appearances.

Inter's reluctance to sign him has opened the door for the Turkish giants, and the Germany international will fly to Istanbul for a medical next week, according to Sport Mediaset.

Podolski, who joined the Gunners from Koln in 2012, initially struggled for first-team chances in his third season in North London before joining the Italian side.

His contract with Arsenal expires next summer.
