Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale are reportedly both set to sign their Arsenal contracts on Thursday.
Real Madrid playmaker Odegaard spent a successful six months on loan at the Emirates last season and has been Mikel Arteta and Edu's priority target in the number 10 role throughout the summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal's pursuit of Ramsdale was thought to be dead in the water given Sheffield United's £40m asking price, but Blades boss Slavisa Jokanovic has revealed that an agreement over a fee - believed to be in the region of £28m - has now been reached.
Now, football.london journalist Chris Wheatley reports that both players are due to sign their Arsenal contracts on Thursday as they follow Ben White, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga to the Emirates.
In a follow-up tweet, Wheatley added that Odegaard had passed his medical but is unlikely to play against Chelsea due to visa issues, whereas Ramsdale should make the squad for Sunday's clash with the European champions.
Real Madrid will supposedly pocket just under €40m (£34m) from the sale of Odegaard, who scored two goals and assisted two more in 20 matches for Arsenal last season.
