Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic would rather join Tottenham Hotspur than Arsenal if given the choice, according to a report.
The Croatia international has been linked with an array of Premier League sides over the past 18 months and came close to joining Manchester United last summer.
United stepped forward with an offer for Perisic but were unable to strike a deal with Inter, though that interest has since faded following the exit of Jose Mourinho.
Arsenal are believed to have made an offer last month, but they lacked the funds to buy the 30-year-old outright and have had to delay a move until the summer when money will become available to manager Unai Emery.
Tuttosport claims that Perisic is against a switch to the Emirates Stadium, however, as he prefers the idea of linking up with Mauricio Pochettino at North London rivals Tottenham.
Perisic handed in a transfer request at San Siro in January and is certain to be sold by Inter in the coming months, and the Italian side are said to be hopeful of a bidding war for the in-demand attacker.
