Ajax starlet Davy Klaassen reportedly wowed scouts from Arsenal at the weekend.
The 20-year-old, who can play in attacking midfield or as a striker, has made a big impact in Amsterdam since making his first-team debut in November 2011.
He scored a hat-trick against NAC Breda on Saturday and, according to the Daily Mail, his performance was closely examined by representatives from the Gunners.
Klaassen has been capped four times by the Netherlands at Under-21 level and his fine form in the Eredivisie has sparked calls for him to feature for the senior team at next year's World Cup.
His current contract at Ajax expires in June 2016 and it is believed that it would take a bid of at least £4m for the Dutch champions to consider selling him.
