Barcelona have reportedly joined the race for Southampton's in-demand midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The 25-year-old has been one of the Premier League's standout performers this season, with his form contributing to Southampton's successful campaign.
Arsenal are believed to lead the race for the Frenchman, but according to reports in Spain, Barcelona are also interested in acquiring the defensive midfielder.
Schneiderlin has recently admitted that "clubs are interested" in signing him, but has denied contact with Arsenal.
As it stands, Barcelona cannot sign any new players until January 2016, but it is thought that the Spanish club can agree deals this summer.
