Inter Milan are reportedly willing to sign Mesut Ozil on loan for the rest of the season, but only if Arsenal agree to pay half of his wages.
The Gunners are allegedly looking to offload the German playmaker, who made his first appearance for a month in Friday's 3-1 loss at home to Manchester United.
Ozil only signed a new long-term deal last year, though, and his £350,000-a-week wages are proving a problem in negotiations with interested clubs.
The Daily Star claims that Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants the 30-year-old off his books this week so that a replacement can be brought in, and Inter are not ruling out a deal going through before Thursday's deadline.
However, Arsenal must agree to pay half of Ozil's wages if they are to have any hope of a loan switch being agreed.
Inter are looking to replace Ivan Perisic after the creative talent, a rumoured target for Manchester United, handed in a transfer request last week.
