Arsenal make an attempt to sign Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic on loan, according to a report.

Arsenal have reportedly made an attempt to sign Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic on loan.

Perisic, 29, signed a new five-year contract with Inter in 2017, following months of speculation linking the attacker with a move to Manchester United.

However, according to BBC Sport, Arsenal have made a loan move for the Croatia international, which includes the option to buy him for £35m at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Perisic has scored three times and registered five assists in 25 appearances for Inter this season.

The left-sided attacker also played a key role in Croatia reaching the final of the 2018 World Cup.

Arsenal are also said to be keen to sign either Barcelona's Denis Suarez or Paris Saint-Germain's Christopher Nkunku before the end of the January transfer window.
