Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that he could sign new players in January following his side's home defeat to Swansea City on Saturday.
Michu scored both goals as the Swans won 2-0 at the Emirates in the Premier League.
"It's difficult to answer that straight away after a game like that," said Wenger, when asked about spending money in January.
"I cannot say no, but I believe the support from the board is there to spend the money if we find the players."
Arsenal are currently 10th in the league standings, 15 points behind leaders Manchester United.
