Grant Holt unconcerned by Norwich City abuse

Aston Villa striker Grant Holt insists that he is not bothered by any abuse he might receive on Sunday against former club Norwich City.

Aston Villa striker Grant Holt has insisted that he is not bothered by any abuse that he might receive this weekend against former club Norwich City.

The 32-year-old left the Canaries for Wigan Athletic in the summer before joining Villa on loan in January.

Holt claims that he is prepared for some ill feeling at Villa Park on Sunday when the two teams face off in the Premier League.

"I think anyone can tell you, they can come to me as much as they want," he told the Birmingham Mail.

"If any fan wants to abuse me all game, I'm not bothered as long as at the end I can walk off smiling having won the game. There's always one, but that's football. Everyone's got an opinion."

Holt has failed to score in four appearances for Aston Villa this season.
