Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew has admitted that he is finding life "tough" at the club following a poor run of form.
The Villans parted company with boss Tim Sherwood on Sunday after picking up just one point since the opening day of the season.
Despite the constant setbacks, the latest of which came against Swansea City at the weekend, Ayew is eager to put things right in order to get supporters smiling again at Villa Park.
"We are playing good football but we are not winning. It's tough," he told the club's official website. "We have to find a solution. As players we have to be stronger to win games. We played well against Swansea but at the end it was zero points.
"We have played against teams who have played no better than us but we haven't been getting the results. We have to continue working hard now to pick up. No matter how we play, we have to win. We want to pick up victories and make the fans happy."
Villa head to St Mary's to take on Southampton in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
