FA Cup first-round draw: Salford City handed Notts County tie

Salford City will play host to Notts County in the first round of the FA Cup, while lowest-ranked side Didcot Town face Exeter City.

Salford City have been drawn against League Two side Notts County in the first round of the FA Cup proper.

The Evo-Stik League Northern Premier outfit, which is owned by Manchester United legends Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville and Phil Neville, will host the Magpies at their Moor Lane home.

Elsewhere, Didcot Town - the lowest-ranked team still left in the draw - will take on Exeter City, while 2008 winners Portsmouth face Macclesfield Town.

The ties are scheduled to take place on November 6, 7 and 8.
