Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert targets improvement up front

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert admits that his side must improve in the final third following a 1-0 defeat to bottom-of-the-table Leicester City.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted that his side needs to improve in the final third after watching them crash to a 1-0 defeat at Leicester City.

Although the Villans boss concedes that his team fell short against the Foxes, he is confident that they can reverse their fortunes with hard work.

"We have to put it right, we have to do better in the last third. We have to keep working hard and hopefully it will come," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"We need creative lads to help the group. We have to do a lot better in the final third."

Leicester remain bottom of the Premier League despite the win, while Villa drop below Everton into 13th.
