USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has reportedly ruled himself out of the running to take over at Aston Villa.
The former Germany international, who has been in charge of the American national side since 2011, had been linked to the role following Paul Lambert's dismissal earlier this week.
However, EPSN reports that the 50-year-old is settled in American, is happy in his current post and focused on leading the United States to the 2018 World Cup.
The report also claims that Villa's position in the Premier League and uncertainty over the future of the ownership has put Klinsmann off.
Klinsmann led USA to the last 16 at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
