Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill is reportedly planning a raid on his former club.

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill is reportedly planning to raid his former club Aston Villa to sign two players.

Striker Gabriel Agbonlahor and full-back Richard Dunne have been linked with a move to the Stadium of Light, according to The Mirror.

Nicklas Bendtner will return to Arsenal at the end of the season when his loan spell expires, and O'Neill is reportedly keen to replace him with Agbonlahor.

The Northern Irishman will be given money to spend this summer, and Villa are expected to generate transfer funds and reduce their budget through player sales.

Veteran defender Dunne will likely be offered a lucrative deal to finish his career at Sunderland.
