Celtic manager Ronny Deila watches Libor Kozak score twice

Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak was recently watched in action by Celtic manager Ronny Deila, according to John Collins.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila travelled to the Midlands to watch Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak score twice for the Under-21s against Derby County on Monday.

The Czech Republic international arrived at Villa Park from Lazio in 2013, but his appearances have been limited by a number of injuries, including a broken leg.

It is thought that Villa are prepared to loan out the 26-year-old, which according to Celtic assistant boss John Collins, has captured the attention of Deila.

"Ronny's gone down to have a look at him and he's scored a couple of goals but there's nothing imminent. We're looking to strengthen all over, to be honest," he told reporters.

Kozak has scored four goals in his 15 outings for Villa.
