The agent of Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez has claimed that Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing his client.
The Uruguayan, who joined Southampton from Bologna last summer, impressed during his first season in the Premier League.
It had been suggested that a number of Italian clubs were keen to bring the playmaker back to Italy, but Pablo Betancourt has admitted that it would be "very difficult" for Ramirez to return to Serie A.
"[Gaston] is currently followed by Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid. At the moment, it is very difficult for him to come back to Italy," Betancourt told Radio Mana Sport.
Ramirez is currently on Confederations Cup duty for his country.
