Nolito open to Atletico Madrid move

Celta Vigo attacker Nolito admits that he would find it hard to turn down a move to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Celta Vigo attacker Nolito has admitted that he would find it difficult to turn down a move to Atletico Madrid this summer.

The 28-year-old, who is highly regarded in Spain, registered 13 goals and 13 assists in 36 league appearances during the 2014-15 season.

Atletico have been strongly linked with a move for the Spain international and he has revealed that he would jump at the chance to represent Diego Simeone's team.

"No one has called me from Atletico, but I'm aware that the club has enquired about me. There's a very long road between that and them signing you, though. Celta have told me that they won't stand in the way if I want to leave..." Nolito told Marca.

"Who wouldn't want to play for Atleti, who will be back in the Champions League next season?"

Nolito turned down a move to the Premier League last summer, with Everton believed to be the team in question.
