Report: Guilherme Siqueria completes Atletico Madrid medical

A report claims that Guilherme Siqueira has completed a medical with Atletico Madrid ahead of his £8m move from Granada.

Brazilian defender Guilherme Siqueira has reportedly completed a medical with Atletico Madrid ahead of his £8m move from Granada.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Portuguese side Benfica, whom he helped win a domestic treble.

Real Madrid had also been interested in his services this summer, but Atletico announced on Saturday that a deal had been agreed.

According to AS, the versatile defender completed a variety of tests this morning, with no problems detected.

As a result, Siqueira is expected to be officially presented as an Atletico player tomorrow.
