Xavi praises Neymar, Marc Bartra

Barcelona midfielder Xavi believes that Neymar and Marc Bartra will play 'important roles' for the club this season.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has praised Neymar and Marc Bartra following Tuesday's Champions League win over Celtic in Glasgow.

Neymar has settled into life with the Catalan outfit after a slow start, while Bartra has impressed since replacing the injured Javier Mascherano in the back four.

"Neymar and Bartra are showing their quality. They will be important throughout the whole season and today they proved it," Xavi told the club's official website.

Cesc Fabregas's second-half header secured all the points for Barcelona, moving them onto six points in Group H in the process.
