Preview: AC Milan vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole looks over the tasty Champions League clash between two of European football's biggest names - AC Milan and Barcelona.

Two of European football's heavyweights clash at the San Siro on Tuesday night as AC Milan host Barcelona in Champions League Group H.

These two sides last met in the knockout stage of last season's competition. Milan won the home leg 2-0 but were trounced 4-0 at Camp Nou as Barca progressed.

Tomorrow night, Milan might be without star striker Mario Balotelli, who is struggling with a thigh problem and sat out the victory over Udinese on Saturday.

At the other end of the pitch, goalkeeper Christian Abbiati will also miss out and be replaced between the sticks by Marco Amelia.

For the visitors, Lionel Messi made his return from injury from the bench in Saturday's goalless draw at Osasuna - Barca's first dropped points of the La Liga season.

The Argentinian should now make a full return to the starting lineup alongside Neymar and Alexis Sanchez in attack.
