Team News: Tom Rogic back among Celtic starters for Barcelona visit

Tom Rogic is one of three players to return to Celtic's starting lineup for the visit of Barcelona at Paradise, while the visitors welcome back Lionel Messi.

Tom Rogic is one of three players to return to Celtic's starting lineup for the visit of Barcelona in the Champions League this evening.

The 23-year-old will make his 75th appearance for the Bhoys, in a match that the hosts have to win if they are to have any hope of progressing in the competition.

Jozo Simunovic and Emilio Izaguirre are also welcomed back from Friday night's win over Kilmarnock, with Patrick Roberts and James Forrest dropping to the bench and Dedryck Boyata missing out on squad inclusion altogether.

In terms of the visitors, the big news is that Lionel Messi returns from his illness bug - which kept him out of the damaging goalless draw with Malaga at the weekend - to partner Neymar and Luis Suarez in one of five changes.

Jordi Alba is also back in defence after shaking off an injury problem, as boss Luis Enrique's men look to secure their progression through to the last-16 stage as group winners.

Celtic need to beat the Group C leaders and hope that Manchester City do not win their meeting with Borussia Monchengladbach elsewhere this evening, with one more match - against the Citizens - to come in a fortnight's time.

Celtic: Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Sviatchenko, Izaguirre; Brown, Arsmtrong; McGregor, Rogic, Sinclair; Dembele
Subs: De Vries, Toure, Bitton, Gamboa, Roberts, Forrest, Henderson

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Mascherano, Pique, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Gomes; Messi, Suarez, Neymar
Subs: Cillessen, Denis, Arda, Rafinha, Alcacer, Digne, Marlon
