Luis Suarez: 'Real Madrid still in title race'

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez insists that Saturday's 4-0 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu has not decided the destination of the La Liga title.

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has insisted that Real Madrid are still in the La Liga title race despite Saturday's result in El Clasico.

Luis Enrique's Barcelona team have moved six points clear of their rivals at the summit following a 4-0 win at the Bernabeu.

Before the match, Suarez claimed that the result would not be decisive in terms of the title and the Uruguay international maintains that view, claiming that the season is "very long".

"We're six points clear, but the season's very long and Madrid are a great team," Suarez, who scored a brace in Madrid, told reporters.

Neymar and Andres Iniesta were also on the scoresheet for the visitors, who welcomed Lionel Messi back from a long-term knee problem in the second period of the clash.
