Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Levante

Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Levante.

Barcelona will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to Levante on Tuesday night.

Ronald Koeman's side played out a goalless draw with league leaders Atletico Madrid on Saturday afternoon to leave themselves second in the table entering the final straight.

However, Real Madrid will be bidding to move above them when they face Sevilla on Sunday night, and the race for the title in Spain's top flight is threatening to go to the wire.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barca's injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Levante, who currently occupy 13th position in the table.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Ansu Fati has not played since November due to a serious knee injury, and the Spain international recently underwent a revision arthroscopy in his left knee as Barca attempt to get to the root of the problem.

Philippe Coutinho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Philippe Coutinho, like Fati, is recovering after undergoing knee surgery, and it seems incredibly unlikely that the Brazil international will return to action before the end of the campaign.

Sergio Busquets

Status: Out
Type of injury: Face
Possible return date: Unknown

Sergio Busquets was forced off the field against Atletico after suffering a facial injury, and the midfielder was later transferred to hospital, where it was shown that he had suffered facial bruising and a broken jaw. The Spain international will miss this match but could potentially be available before the end of the season.

Barca have no players suspended for this game.
