Johan Cruyff could return to Barcelona

Former Netherlands international Johan Cruyff says that he could return to former club Barcelona in the future.

Former Netherlands international Johan Cruyff has claimed that he could return to former club Barcelona in some capacity.

The 66-year-old, who represented Barcelona in a playing capacity from 1973 until 1978, managed the Spanish side from 1988 until 1996.

"We haven't spoken because I've been travelling almost all the time," Cruyff told reporters from Kuala Lumpur.

"If they attempt to contact me again, then we'll see what happens. Let's see how they try... I've got a few ideas on how to do a couple of things differently."

Cruyff, who has also managed Ajax, is currently unemployed.
