Pep Guardiola: 'Luis Enrique will do better job than me at Barcelona'

Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is confident that new coach Luis Enrique can repeat his successful stint in charge at the Camp Nou.

Pep Guardiola believes that new Barcelona manager Luis Enrique can do a "better job than [he] did" at the Camp Nou.

The 43-year-old, who is now in charge of Bayern Munich, led the La Liga giants to 14 trophies in his four years at the club.

However, Guardiola is confident that new coach Enqrique can also become a success after taking over from Tata Martino this summer.

"Of course he can match me at Barcelona, I think very highly of him. He will do a better job than I did," Sport quotes the Spaniard as saying.

"It is important for Barcelona to have its own identity again, a philosophy that we all recognise. I think we will see just that under Luis Enrique."

Barcelona currently top the La Liga table with victories in their first two league games.
