Osasuna midfielder Francisco Punal has admitted that the Spanish outfit faced "a very switched on" Barcelona at the weekend.
The relegation-threatened side were thumped 7-0 at the Camp Nou on Sunday, but Punal has insisted that the team will recover.
"There's not much that can be said. We prepared for the game with the intention of doing well and it just didn't work out for us," he told reporters.
"We encountered a very switched on Barcelona, that's what happened. Such a big defeat really is a shame and then some.
"It hurts everyone to concede so many goals; it takes away the desire to play football... But the game is behind us now and we have to look at the positives, there weren't any injuries or suspensions."
Osasuna currently sit 15th in La Liga, three points from the bottom three.
