Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly about to call time on his Juventus tenure, but he could make a swift return to management with Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.

Massimiliano Allegri is ready to call time on his Juventus tenure after five seasons at the Allianz Stadium, according to a report.

The 51-year-old, a five-time Serie A title winner with Juve, has delayed making an official announcement on his future until the end of the season.

Italian outlet La Stampa suggests that, following weeks of speculation, a meeting between Allegri and Juventus president Andrea Agnelli will soon take place.

Allegri is expected to inform his bosses that he wants to leave Turin a year early, with last month's quarter-final exit from the Champions League playing a big part in his decision.

The report indicates that the former AC Milan manager will either go to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona or take a year out of the game.
