How Barcelona could line up against Eibar

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Barcelona will enter Saturday's clash with Eibar knowing that a win would move them back to the top of La Liga.

Indeed, the Spanish champions are currently just one point behind league leaders Real Madrid, who are not in action until Saturday evening against Levante.

As a result, a fourth straight league success for Quique Setien's side would see them return to the top of the table, temporarily at least, ahead of the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash with Napoli on Tuesday night.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the Catalan giants could line up this weekend.

Martin Braithwaite could make his debut for Barca having joined on a four-year deal from Leganes. The Spanish champions confirmed the deal on Thursday, and it does appear that the former Middlesbrough attacker will be involved this weekend, potentially off the bench.

Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele remain unavailable for selection through injury, though, while Jordi Alba is also still on the sidelines with a groin complaint.

As a result, Junior Firpo should return at left-back, while there are expected to be other changes from the 2-1 win over Getafe, with Setien potentially having an eye on the trip to Naples.

Indeed, Nelson Semedo and Arturo Vidal are both pushing for starts, while Clement Lenglet is expected to return to the heart of the defence having served a one-game ban.

Lionel Messi, who should again be joined by Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati in attack, has not scored in his last four La Liga appearances but has provided six assists in his last three outings in Spain's top flight.
