Barcelona 'unwilling to meet Paris Saint-Germain price for Neymar'

A report claims that Barcelona are unable to fund a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar as it will set them back £537m over the next five years.

Barcelona are reportedly unwilling to match Paris Saint-Germain's asking price for superstar forward Neymar.

PSG are open to selling any players who do not want to be at the club - a category that former Barca ace Neymar is believed to fit into.

The Brazil international swapped Camp Nou for the Parc des Princes two years ago but is rumoured to be pushing for a return.

Spanish outlet Marca suggests that a move is unlikely to go through, however, as PSG expect the deal to set them back €600m (£537m) over the next five years, which includes a €250m (£224m) upfront payment.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu acknowledges that the club are not in a financial position to pay that amount of money, it is claimed, though there is still hope that they can convince Neymar to take a pay cut.
