Celta Vigo have completed the signing of Barcelona centre-back Sergi Gomez.
The 22-year-old, who made just one appearance for the Barca first team during his eight years at the club, had been tracked by a number of top-flight Spanish clubs this summer.
However, Celta have swooped to land the defender on a three-year deal and the Spaniard will join up with his new teammates for pre-season training later this month.
A number of La Masia graduates – including Isaac Cuenca, Cristian Tello and Bojan – are expected to depart the Camp Nou this summer as new head coach Luis Enrique overhauls the squad.
