Report: Barcelona to move for Antonio Candreva

A report claims that Barcelona are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva in the January transfer window.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in bringing Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva to Camp Nou in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from his current club in recent weeks, but the Italian's agent recently denied reports that his client had agreed to join Inter Milan at the start of 2016.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, however, Barcelona are also interested in signing the midfielder and could make a move when their transfer ban is lifted.

Candreva joined Lazio from Udinese in 2012 and has made more than 150 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions.

Barcelona are expected to be active in January despite the availability of summer signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal.
