Good evening everyone! Was Tuesday's drama enough for you? No? OK, well we've got some more Champions League action for you tonight as Bayern Munich host Shakhtar Donetsk in the second leg of their Champions League tie.

Credit must got to Shakhtar. The Ukrainian side weren't given a chance when drawn against Bayern, but they produced an impressive display to claim a goalless draw in the first leg last month. That means this tie is delicately poised ahead of tonight's game.

Bayern have been unstoppable since being held to a draw in Ukraine. Pep Guardiola's side have won four successive games, with 15 goals coming in those games. It doesn't matter who you are, it's never easy visiting the Allianz Arena. Can Bayern avoid a shock tonight?

Guardiola makes three changes from the weekend as Bastian Schweinsteiger, Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski all return to replace Dante, Juan Bernat and the suspended Xabi Alonso. There's very good news for the hosts as Philipp Lahm is back from an ankle injury to earn a place on the bench.

Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu makes one change from the first leg as Taras Stepaneko comes into the midfield to replace Fernando. Will the visitors look to frustrate Bayern tonight? It wouldn't be a surprise to seem them stick to the same game plan from the first leg.

At 0-0, the first goal is going to be crucial tonight. Bayern remain firm favourites, but if Shakhtar get in front it could be a very interesting evening. Guardiola was keen to warn his side against complacency in his pre-match press conference.

"Maybe tomorrow it'll be a surprise and we have to be prepared. This game is like a playoff in basketball with the first game and the second game," the Spaniard told reporters.

"The game and the strategy defensively and the way to attack can change. We know each other better, exactly what they did and they know as well what we did."

KEY BATTLE: Bayern have got so much attacking talent on show tonight. Shakhtar did a good job of limiting the space on offer in the first leg, but this evening could be a different story. Stepaneko wasn't in the side last month, however, his performance will be crucial. Mario Gotze, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery will all pop up in central areas, so how he deals with that threat could make a big difference.

Shakhtar boss Lucescu admits that his side face a tough task tonight, telling UEFA's official website: "In my opinion Bayern are the world's strongest football team at the moment.

"They have an advantage on us. Their team is also superior to ours, but football does not follow logical rules. In football, anything can happen."

PREDICTION: It could be tough for Bayern to find a breakthrough if Shakhtar remain stubborn at the back, but I can't see the hosts misfiring tonight. I'm going for a 3-1 victory for Bayern at the Allianz Arena.

STAT: Bayern have won their Champions League home games 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0 this season. Can Shakhtar prevent them from improving again tonight?

In his pre-match press conference, Guardiola claimed that Shakhtar would contend for the title if they played in the Bundesliga. Well, Bayern are currently 11 points clear in the league, so that would take something special. Shakhtar are an excellent side, but it's unclear whether sitting on the back foot will suit them tonight.

Lahm is back in the Bayern squad tonight for the first time since breaking his ankle back in November. He might not steal many headlines with his performances, but he's incredibly important to this side. If he's handed an appearance tonight, the Allianz Arena will go wild.

Here we go then. After a fairly uneventful match in Ukraine last month, we're surely going to see fireworks this evening. Just the anthem and the handshakes to get out of the way!

Shakhtar will get the game underway.

Shakhtar may have started with the ball, but it's Bayern dominating possession in the early stages. The visitors finally get the ball back after chasing shadows for an extended spell.

RED CARD! What a start for Bayern. Robben and Ribery link up brilliantly to release Gotze, who goes down under a tackle from Kucher. There wasn't much contact, but it's enough to persuade the referee to send off the defender. It's already a mountain to climb as Muller prepares to take a penalty.

Is it game over? Muller holds his nerve from 12 yards to send Pyatov the wrong way. It was a tough ask already, but Shakhtar must do something special to get back in this tie from here.

Shakhtar respond pretty well to the early setback by winning a couple of corners, but Bayern manage to clear. The visitors still feel aggrieved about the red card. You can understand their frustration. Gotze was about to pull the trigger. Maybe the red was correct, but Bayern wouldn't have argued with a yellow.

CLOSE! Great work from Alaba to find Lewandowski, who pulls the ball across the box. It looks like Robben will add the finishing touch from a few yards out, but he can't stretch enough to reach the ball.

SUBSTITUTION: Lucescu decides there is too much space at the back following the red card, and the unfortunate Taison is replaced by Serhiy Kryvtsov.

Brilliant from Bayern. Shakhtar are rocked. A corner is rolled across to Muller on the front post, and the strike sets up Robben, who blasts over from inside the box.

Bayern are in complete control at the moment. One more goal and this tie will be over. Boateng brings down a corner at the back post before picking out Ribery, whose touch prevents him from unleashing a shot.

Strange scenes at the Allianz Arena. Sebastian Rode was ready to come on, and it looks like Robben may be struggling with an injury. However, that substitution has been delayed as Guardiola shouts frantically at the Dutchman.

SUBSTITUTION: Guardiola makes the change. Robben is holding his hamstring as he comes off to be replaced by Rode.

Shakhtar are just sitting back hoping to keep on Bayern's tail. It will take something special or a slice of luck to get them back in this tie. It's looking like a training session for Bayern, who continue to dictate the tempo.

OFF THE POST! Bayern should be 2-0 up. Lewandowski is left completely unmarked at the back post, but he can only send a header straight at the post from Rafinha's cross.

YELLOW CARD! Adriano steals the ball in midfield, and despite having five players to beat on the halfway line, Badstuber decides to take the forward out with a cynical challenge. A deserved booking for the centre back.

Clever play from Ribery as he shifts the ball one way before turning the other. He eventually unleashes a low effort, but Pyatov reacts well to get a foot on the ball.

Guardiola, football's perfectionist, won't be completely happy. Despite dominating possession, Bayern have made some poor decision on the edge of the box. Strange things can happen in the Champions League. He'll want to finish this tie off.

It's surely all over. Bayern double their lead over 10-man Shakhtar, and it's all too easy. Muller finds the space to head the ball down to Lewandowski, whose effort from a few yards out is brilliantly stopped by Pyatov. However, the ball drops to Boateng and the centre back fires the ball in from close range.

CHANCE! Bayern come agonisingly close to a third. Alaba does a superb job of controlling the cross at the back post with a cushioned pass to Muller, who turns before curling just wide of the target.

YELLOW CARDS! Shakhtar are clearly frustrated, and Douglas Costa is in the middle of everything as he charges into the back of Ribery before confronting Boateng. It's a yellow card each for Costa and Boateng.

It's getting very scrappy now. Bayern are still keen to dominate, but fouls from both sides are having an impact on the rhythm on the game. Shakhtar aren't sure how to respond when they eventually get the ball.

Shakhtar finally send a few men forward, and they're almost punished by the break. Lewandowski collects the ball on the left before cutting inside to hit a low shot straight at Pyatov.

In truth, Shakhtar are defending pretty well. The visitors may be down to 10 men, but they continue to battle well as Lewandowski runs out of space on the edge of the box.

I'd love to say this tie was still alive, but it's difficult to see how Shakhtar can get back in this match. After losing Kucher inside three minutes it's been one-way traffic. Muller and Boateng have found the net already and Bayern will have eyes on an emphatic win.

BENCH WATCH: Both sides have made one change, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Bayern make more early in the second half if it remains comfortable for the hosts. Lahm could be in line for a run out on his return from injury. Shakhtar need to not concede again and score two goals, so Ilsinho and Wellington are both good attacking options on the bench.

Shakhtar's supporters will tell you the red card was harsh, and it's easy to understand the argument at such an early stage of the match. The fact is that Gotze was ready to shoot from a great position, and by the letter of the law, that is a goalscoring opportunity. Maybe the rule isn't right, but the referee probably had no other choice.

UPDATE: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been sent off, but it's currently goalless between Chelsea and PSG at Stamford Bridge. If it remains 1-1 on aggregate, Chelsea will be going through.

Bayern will get the game back underway.

Shakhtar are taking risky by attempting to play out from the back, and it's allowing Bayern to press even further up the pitch. It's a recipe for disaster. Bayern's midfield are playing very high in the second half.

If it wasn't over already, it is now. The impressive Ribery exchanges passes with partner in crime Alaba to force his way into the box, and he makes no mistake with a fine finish into the bottom corner. Guardiola is delighted. It's going to be a long 30 minutes for the visitors.

Shakhtar are falling apart. Ribery somehow manages to keep the ball in on the left to deliver a fine cross which Pyatov can only push out to Muller, who keeps his composure to fire home his second of the night. Lucescu isn't sure how to react on the touchline. How many can Bayern get?

The visitors can barely get a touch on the ball. Bayern's defence is playing in midfield and it's a part atmosphere at the Allianz Arena as Ribery, Gotze and Muller continue to dominate in the final third.

CHANCE! Shakhtar have a chance to score a consolation when Rakitskiy collects the ball on the left, but he decides to cross towards Adriano, who is beaten to the ball by Boateng.

There's some concern for Bayern as Ribery limps around on the pitch for a few moments holding his ankle. I'd be very surprised if the hosts take a risk on the Frenchman. He'll probably be heading off soon.

SUBSTITUTION: Ribery's match is over. It doesn't look too serious, but he's given the rest of the night off as Juan Bernat comes on.

SAVE! Superb football from Bayern. A clever passing move from the hosts creates space for Bernat, who evades a couple of challenges in the box before hitting a low shot which hits Pyatov's foot and drifts behind.

Bayern retain possession from a corner to pile more misery on Shakhtar as Rafinha finds the space to deliver a cross which Badstuber meets with a powerful header. Pyatov gets a hand to the ball, but he can't keep it out.

Great work from Costa on the wing as he beats Rafinha twice before delivering a cross which is just too strong for Adriano in the middle.

SUBSTITUTION: Badstuber is a very popular figure at this club and he gets a great reception as Guardiola uses his final change to bring on Dante.

SUBSTITUTION: Teixeira has struggled to get involved tonight, and his frustrating evening is over as his fellow Brazilian Ilsinho comes on.

Bayern are still dominating possession. Shakhtar's challenge was over a long time ago. They've not disgraced themselves, but more goals look likely as Lewandowski's poor touch sees a move break down.

Lewandowski gets the goal he's been desperately searching for. He exploits the space to latch onto an inch-perfect long ball from Gotze, and the Polish forward makes no mistake with a calm finish past Pyatov.

Bayern are digging into their bag of tricks now. It's not always coming off, but the home fans are loving every second of this game. Shakhtar just want the final whistle to arrive now.

SUBSTITUTION: Costa comes off to be replaced by Wellington, who gets to chase Bayern around the pitch in the closing stages. What a present.

Lewandowski is furious when Kryvtsov prevents him from latching onto Gotze's clever pass. The referee doesn't spot the elbow from the Shakhtar defender as the visitors survive another spell of pressure.

CHANCE! Muller comes close to scoring a hat-trick when he connects with a volley which drifts just past the near post. Good work in the build-up from Rode, who has ben very impressive this evening.

CHANCE! Bayern could be in double figures. Rode finds space in midfield once again before playing the ball into the path of Lewandowski, who drags his effort wide of the target.

You've got to feel for Pyatov. It's Boateng who shows quick feet on the touchline to lead the counter-attack before picking out Gotze. Bayern's attacking midfielder cuts inside onto his right foot and fires a low shot into the bottom corner. SEVEN!

Gotze comes close to scoring his second in the space of two minutes when he brings down Rode's chipped through ball before sending a half-volley just past the post.

SAVE! Credit to Pyatov. Lewandowski finds space in the box to meet a cross with a powerful header but he's denied by an excellent stop.

Well, the game was probably over as soon as Bayern capitalised on Kucher's dismissal after three minutes. It's been a comfortable and dominant performance from the home side and one of the favourites for the competition cruise through.
