Team News: Franck Ribery, Bastian Schweinsteiger named on Bayern Munich bench

Franck Ribery and Bastian Schweinsteiger start on the bench as Bayern Munich take on Hannover in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has named Franck Ribery and Bastian Schweinsteiger on the bench for the meeting with Hannover in the Bundesliga.

Ahead of Wednesday's clash with Shakhtar Donetsk in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, Bayern have decided to leave a number of key players on the bench, with Ribery and Schweinsteiger joined by Mehdi Benatia and Robert Lewandowski.

Thomas Muller, Mario Gotze and Arjen Robben lead the attack for the leaders, while there is also a start for Dante in the centre of defence.

Hannover are without the suspended Lars Stindl, but Artur Sobiech does return to the side as the lone striker.

Tayfun Korkut hands starts to Jimmy Briand, Leonardo Bittencourt and Hiroshi Kiyotake as the hosts continue their search for a first win of 2015.

Hannover: Zieler, Pereira, Marcelo, Schulz, Albornoz, Schmiedebach, Sane, Briand, Kiyotake, Bittencourt, Sobiech

Bayern: Neuer, Badstuber, Alonso, Dante, Rafinha, Boateng, Bernat, Alaba, Robben, Gotze, Muller
