Preview: Borussia Monchengladbach vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole previews the Bundesliga fixture between Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich.

Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich will put their respective unbeaten records on the line on Sunday afternoon when they go head to head in the Bundesliga.

Monchengladbach, who are four points adrift of Bayern in the league table, have put together a run of 13 games without defeat this year and eight goals in their last two games suggests that they will be confident of upsetting the league champions.

Lucien Favre will be relying on striker Max Kruse to add to his growing tally this season, with the German international having already netted five times for the Foals.

Bayern have been in equally relentless form, going 12 contests without defeat and scoring 17 goals in their last three outings.

Their clean-sheet record, which spanned eight successive games, came to an end in Rome on Tuesday night but they made a statement to their rivals with a fantastic 7-1 success.

Coach Pep Guardiola is unlikely to tinker with his side for the visit to Stadion im Borussia-Park, with the Spaniard keen to see his front four of Mario Gotze, Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski add to their tallies for the season.
