Winger Arjen Robben and striker Mario Gomez have been left on the Bayern Munich bench for their away game against Mainz in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

The duo have struggled to play regularly for the Bavarian giants this campaign, with Mario Mandzukic starting in attack today and Thomas Muller taking Robben's place on the right side of the midfield.

Toni Kroos continues to be deployed in central midfield against Mainz, who are without Adam Szalai through suspension.
