Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich stalwart Jerome Boateng before the end of the European transfer window.
The 30-year-old has fallen behind Niklas Sule in the pecking order, as well as new signings Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez.
According to Spor Arena, the German holds a market value of £20m but Fenerbahce would prefer to sign the former Manchester City man on loan, paying two thirds of his wages.
Boateng was once a key figure in Bavaria but hasn't featured in more than 20 league games in a season since the 2014-15 campaign.
Fenerbahce have already bolstered their defence this summer with the acquisition of Mathias Jorgensen from Huddersfield Town earlier this month.
Ersun Yanal's side have won their opening two matches of the season, defeating Gazisehir Gaziantep 5-0 before an impressive 2-1 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.
