Blackburn Rovers' global adviser Shebby Singh has claimed that the Lancashire club will not sack manager Steve Kean.
The Scotsman's job is thought to have been under threat in the last week after just seven matches in the Championship.
Despite Kean holding a meeting with the club's Indian owners, Singh has insisted that the club will not part ways with the 44-year-old, according to BBC Radio Lancashire.
Singh sparked controversy a few months ago when he stated that Kean would face the chop if he lost three games in a row this season.
Rovers currently sit second in the Championship table, two points adrift of Brighton & Hove Albion.
