Sports Mole previews a key game at the bottom of the Premier League where Blackburn could be relegated if they lose to Wigan.

There could be both jubilation and despair when Wigan Athletic visit Blackburn Rovers on Monday as a win for the Latics could see them secure safety and in doing so relegate the home side.

The two sides come into the encounter in contrasting form as Rovers have lost six of their last seven while Wigan have won five out of seven in an impressive month that saw Roberto Martinez named the Premier League manager of the month.

Rovers boss Steve Kean looks set to be able to call upon Martin Olsson after the left-sided player was absent from the last three matches because of a groin problem.

Martinez has a near-fully fit squad to choose from as Wigan go in search of another remarkable Premier League escape.

Whether either side will learn their fate will depend on Sunday's results at Aston Villa, Bolton and QPR.

Current form:

Blackburn: LLLLWL
Wigan: WLWWLW

Possible lineups:

Blackburn: Robinson; Orr, Dann, Givet, Olsson; Dunn, Lowe, N'Zonzi, Pedersen; Hoilett, Yakubu

Wigan: Al Habsi; Boyce, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa; Moses, McCarthy, McArthur, Maloney, Beausejour; Di Santo

Sports Mole says: 1-1
