Paul Ince attends Blackpool game

Paul Ince sits in the Directors' Box for Blackpool's match with Ipswich at Portman Road, fuelling rumours he could soon be named the club's new manager.

Paul Ince has fuelled reports that he is to become the next Blackpool manager by attending their match with Ipswich Town this afternoon.

The Tangerines are still looking for a new boss after Michael Appleton left to join Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers last month.

The former England captain is often in the crowd at Blackpool matches in order to keep tabs on son Thomas Ince, who has been a key player for the Seasiders this term.

However, he is watching from the Directors' Box at Portman Road today, which has increased speculation that he is talking to the Blackpool board about filling their managerial vacancy.

Steve Thompson is currently in caretaker charge of the Bloomfield Road outfit.
