Half time at Portman Road sees Ipswich Town and Blackpool head in with the scores level at 0-0.

Ipswich Town and Blackpool have played out a goalless first half in the Championship clash at Portman Road.

Matt Derbyshire came close to getting on the end of a Matt Phillips cross, but Luke Chambers headed clear for the corner.

Chris Basham fired over from 14 yards as Blackpool continued to push for the opener.

David McGoldrick had Ipswich's first effort on goal, but saw his volley deflected wide for a corner. Daryl Murphy had a chance from the corner, but Matt Gilks saved well to keep the score at 0-0.

The Tangerines came close to taking the lead on 27 minutes when Basham played Tiago Gomes in on goal, but the midfielder could only hit the post with his finish.

Anthony Wordsworth was forced off on his debut after 34 minutes and replaced by Michael Chopra.
