Paul Ince: Blackpool want "ridiculous offer" for Thomas Ince

Paul Ince says that it would take a big bid to tempt Blackpool into selling his son Thomas Ince.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has revealed that the club would only consider a "ridiculous offer" for his son Thomas.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 21-year-old, including Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Reading.

However, the winger still has 12 months to run on his contract at Bloomfield Road and with that in mind, Ince senior is hoping that Blackpool will be successful in their bid to fend off any interest.

"We knew there would be a lot of interest in Thomas and that's proving to be the case," he told the Blackpool Gazette.

"But speaking to him, he will be happy to come and play here again. I'm not saying he doesn't want to go and play in the Premier League because I know one day he will.

"If we can keep him for the next 12 months, then it will save us from looking elsewhere. We'd like to keep him but if someone makes a ridiculous offer we'll have to look at it. Fingers crossed he'll be here again next year."

Ince joined the Seasiders from Liverpool during the summer of 2011.
